Acoustics

Provides measurements, calculations and design in the field of architectural and room acoustics, as well as electro-acoustic design of sound reinforcement, studio or hi-fi systems. Our professional focus covers a wide range of properties including music studios, clubs, concert halls, residential, cultural, hospitality, and educational facilities, offices and industrial plants.

Architectural design

Responsible for the visual, aesthetic and ergonomic aspects of each project. In addition to visual and "comfort" design, we also pay attention to the ecology and sustainability of the materials and structures we create. In such a rich mix of overlapping design goals, we strive to find new visual ways to build and treat spaces without compromising acoustic quality.

Supply

Establishes business relationships with audio equipment distributors, dives into local customs, laws and taxes to be able to deliver equipment on time and at reasonable prices to the country where the project is being worked on. The Supply Department is also responsible for building our own bespoke acoustic units or accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your typical workflow look like?

We usually have clients wondering what actually we do by making acoustic research and design. That's why we described one of our basic workflows to show what's being cooked behind the scenes. We put it in this section of the Services page. Nevertheless, there are also a few different scenarios we use to go. Chosen individually in your favor.

What are the timelines for the execution of typical projects?

The average execution timeline for one premise of around 50 sq.m. is 12 business days, which includes acoustic research and design with instructions and layouts. Adding each extra premise to the project increase the timeline by about 4 business days. Adding additional services like interior design or equipment supply significantly varies timeframes in each case. Practically, the interior design adds another 12 business days for one premise and 4 business days for each extra. Supply and construction work in our regular business operation areas and countries take around 15 business days to complete for one premise and around 6 business days for each extra. Overall, the average 50 sq.m. premise turnkey build takes about 1,5-2 months.

How can I be sure of the resulting quality?

Every WaveWork solution is developed strictly in compliance with the international acoustic standards of ISO and DIN. The only case we step out of the frames is our client's creative or individual vision. Even in such cases, the guidelines are always very close, and the resulting quality is predicted, controlled, and usually double-checked on-site. Acoustic parameters' values will settle in the industry-recommended ranges in accordance with the purpose of your premises.

Do you offer on-site supervision and cooperation with the client's architects and foremen?

Yes, the above-mentioned are the services WaveWork is glad to offer separately on demand. Even though our basic service includes a technical report with instructions and layouts of how to build the solution, we offer personal support to construction teams, architects, and foremen to prevent any possible flaws and guarantee execution on time.

Can I conduct the measurements in the premise myself?

In some cases, if your project is too far away from us, it's simple and you have basic audio engineering skills, we offer mentorship to teach you how to measure your premise, prepare for the treatment and build. We provide acoustic research and design, you act on-site. We provide instructions, you build. Teamwork.

Do you offer bespoke acoustic units and finishings?

Yes, we do. If you share our idea to create not only good-sounding but also good-looking spaces, you will most likely start with interior design. Then it generally comes to the need for custom shapes, colors, and finishes. It's always time-consuming, but you'll get that aesthetic or cultural side and always your own, exclusive listening experience and the highest professional productivity. Bespoke units are made in Europe or individually produced in your region.
